Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter and Turner to take charge of our facility's maintenance operations. This role requires a professional with a strong background in mechanical maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out regular maintenance activities to maintain equipment efficiency and extend its lifespan.
- Investigate and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies to reduce equipment failures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall performance of our facility.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance roles, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, and conveyors.
- Skilled in welding, fabricating, and repairing machinery components.
