Job Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Power Grid Safety Expert to join our team. As a key member of our consulting team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on power system protection and arc flash studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex network modelling and analysis using DIgSILENT PowerFactory and other software packages.
  • Conduct protection coordination and arc flash studies to ensure the safe operation of power systems.
  • Develop and implement project management strategies to meet client requirements.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and identify new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Significant experience in network modelling and analysis.
  • Excellent knowledge of South African transmission and distribution systems and grid code compliance.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer with ECSA or working towards registration.
