The role involves working closely with stakeholders, third-party vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance with security and industry standards.
The successful candidate will have strong technical advisory, solution planning, and documentation skills, as well as a deep understanding of mining processes, systems, and tools. A bilingual (French and English) preferred, the ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and drive technology strategy and innovation within the mining sector.
Key responsibilities include developing robust Java-based applications, architectural guidance, design review and quality assurance, stakeholder engagement, solution design, architecture development, integration planning, technology evaluation, security and compliance, performance and scalability, cost estimation, and documentation.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience, 10+ years of practical experience in solution architecture, certification in TOGAF ADM v10 and ArchiMate modelling language v3.2, experience with enterprise architecture repositories, converged infrastructure, and cloud computing expertise across Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, Azure, AWS, and GCP.
