We are seeking a strategic thinker who can lead our academic operations team as a Department Head. As a Department Head, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive academic excellence and operational efficiency.

About the Role

This position reports directly to the Vice-Chancellor and is responsible for leading the academic operations department. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation of academic and related policies, ensure compliance with all areas of academic operations, and maintain relationships with stakeholders including students, parents, lecturers, and staff.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive academic excellence and operational efficiency;
  • Manage the operational management of academic programs, including timetabling and scheduling;
  • Develop and implement processes to improve student experience and lecturer engagement;
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and policies;
  • Represent the department on various committees and working groups;
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in higher education or a related field;
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
