Mass Staffing Projects is seeking a highly skilled Senior Wind Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. As a Senior Wind Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of wind projects, working closely with our team to identify and develop new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Development: Identify and develop new wind projects, working closely with our team to secure land and interface with contractors to erect met masts.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of 2-3 engineers in the meso-scale modelling of wind projects, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Wind Data Analysis: Responsible for wind data analysis, verification, and micro-scale modelling of wind turbines, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
- Project Lifecycle: Responsible for the complete project development lifecycle, from site identification to environmental and permitting, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Collaboration: Interface with wind turbine OEMs and site optimizations, working closely with our team to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
- BSc Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical)
- 5 – 10 years' experience in the development of wind projects within the REIPP Programme
- WASP courses
