**Estimated Salary:** R550,000 - R700,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience)

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for treating patients with cancer using radiation therapy, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients with cancer, following established protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including oncologists, radiologists, and nurses, to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct regular assessments of patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal results
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient treatments and outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in radiation therapy technology and techniques

**Requirements**

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A National Diploma in Radiation Therapy or equivalent qualification
  • At least 3 years of experience in radiation therapy
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Therapy Radiographer
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
