Job Title: Toolmaker

Hlabahlosile is seeking a skilled Toolmaker to join our team. As a Toolmaker, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, repair, and improvement of all tooling dies, jigs, fixtures, and fittings for press tools and CNC equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain tooling dies, jigs, fixtures, and fittings to support production and customer requirements.
  • Support the new tooling division for new product development, launch, and introductions.
  • Work on various phases or sub-tasks of projects or entire projects of moderate complexity.
Requirements:
  • Qualified, trade-tested, and experienced Toolmakers.
  • Minimum N3 (and matric) qualification.
  • In-depth knowledge of grinders, lathes, and milling machines.
  • Tool, Jig & Die Maker Trade.
  • Previous industry/product-related experience is preferred.
  • Experience in project management/project team participation.
  • Basic understanding of GD&T.
