Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing centre operations, optimizing trading opportunities, and ensuring sound financial performance. Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing mutually beneficial relationships with tenants;
- Managing personnel, service contractors, repairs, revamps, tenant installations, and general building administration;
- Controlling total expense accounts, including repairs and service contracts, project management expenses, replacement or selling of equipment, and allowances.
Requirements
To excel in this role, applicants must possess 3-5 years' experience in property/centre management, minimum Grade 12 or equivalent qualification, registration with the Estate Agency Affairs Board, and a valid Fidelity Fund Certificate. A business or property-related tertiary qualification is highly recommended. Retail experience is essential.
Key Skills
The ideal candidate will have strong budgeting and financial management skills, excellent business writing skills, people management abilities, IT literacy (MS Office suite, SAP), and administration skills. A driver's license is also required.
Knowledge and Competencies
Candidates must have advanced knowledge of the property/centre management industry, basic technical knowledge, contract management skills, elementary financial management, workable knowledge of Company policies and procedures, in-depth lease agreement understanding, cost budgeting acumen, and basic statutory requirements knowledge. The ability to problem solve, build customer relationships, communicate effectively, lead teams, demonstrate financial and business acumen, confidence, assertiveness, negotiation skills, analytical thinking, tolerance for stress, and resilience is crucial.
