We are a global technology company that provides innovative solutions to our clients. Our Data Center Operations team is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers, providing a secure and reliable environment for our clients' data.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Operations specialist to join our team in this challenging role. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our data center facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.

Salary Estimate

The estimated annual salary for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain data center facilities, including generators, UPS systems, air conditioning, electrical distribution, access control, CCTV, and general housekeeping.
  • Log and resolve incidents with suppliers and vendors within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Administer service sheets, job cards, and monthly reports.
  • Implement and enforce formal data center policies and procedures.
  • Provide high-quality access control support and facilitate client experiences within IS Data Centres.
  • Ensure the security and safety of clients and equipment within the IDCs.
  • Operate and engage with internal IS systems and technologies to drive service delivery.
  • Attend scheduled training sessions and successfully complete accompanying assessments.
Requirements
  • Data Center accreditation (CDCE/P/S/FOM)
  • Wireman's accreditation
  • Technical competency with data center facilities (generator, UPS, A/C, electrical)
  • 5-10 years of data center facilities management and/or data center engineering management experience (technical, electrical-mechanical)
  • Knowledge relevant to data center operations
  • Advantageous: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Facility Management
