Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting:
    • Prepare accurate and timely monthly management reports, including balance of daily sales numbers, review/calculations of representatives' sales incentives, and preparation of month-end results.
    • Develop and submit internal reporting packs, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
    • Review and prepare monthly variance analysis and commentary, as well as forecasts and budgets.
  • Reconciliations:
    • Ensure the completion and accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations, accounts payable reconciliations, accounts receivable reconciliations, and payroll reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Tax, Statutory, and Audit:
    • Manage all tax and statutory deadlines, preparing monthly tax computations and submitting annual tax returns.
    • Coordinate the internal and external audit process, ensuring safe custody and control of assets, financial records, loan collateral, and securities.
    • Implement insurance management procedures.
  • Working Capital Management:
    • Monitor cash position daily, manage working capital requirements, and review and release cashbook and accounts payable payments.
    • Submit weekly cash flow reporting and maintain accurate age analyses of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
    • Oversee fixed asset management and ensure accurate costing of stock.
  • Processes and Procedures:
    • Identify and respond quickly to problems, developing appropriate internal controls to minimize financial risk.
    • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for business cycles within the organization.
  • General:
    • Address ad-hoc queries from business partners, suppliers, and customers.
    • Prepare analyses and reports as required.
    • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
