Job Description:

As a Senior DrillerMarine, you will be responsible for supervising drillers and coordinating all drilling activities to achieve efficiency and effectiveness. Your role will involve daily on-the-job monitoring, ensuring optimal production by monitoring weather, overburden volumes, and drill times. You will also be responsible for monitoring the progress of ore extraction and adjusting drilling parameters to suit seabed conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise drill floor personnel and activities
  • Train Drillers and Trainee Drillers in the methods and techniques of achieving efficiency and effectiveness of drilling
  • Optimize drilling process to ensure maximum production
  • Plan maintenance requirements and manage stock levels and spares for the drill floor
  • Recognize areas for improvement and implement changes
  • Provide objectives and train Drillers and Trainee Drillers to participate in all aspects of the planned maintenance system
