**About the Role:**

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Systems Manager to join our team at Alinta Tech Solutions. As a key member of our Technology Infrastructure & Operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our information systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Server Management: Ensure server and network uptime and availability, conduct routine maintenance and updates, and achieve server and network uptime of at least 99.95% per month.
  • Performance Optimization and Scalability: Ensure the infrastructure can scale to meet increasing demand, implement load balancing, caching, and performance tuning techniques, and track percentage improvement in system performance.
  • Issue Response and Resolution: Respond to critical server issues within the set timeframe, perform effective troubleshooting and problem resolution, and track mean time to resolution (MTTR) for infrastructure incidents and incident resolution success rate.
  • System Updates: Execute necessary server software and firmware updates, and complete 100% of server updates within one week of release.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices for cybersecurity, implement security controls, monitor for threats, and respond to security incidents, track compliance rate with regulatory requirements and best practices, mean time to remediate vulnerabilities, number of exceptions, and average age of open vulnerabilities.
  • Backup Management: Perform routine backups and ensure a high success rate, maintain a backup success rate of at least 98% each month.
  • Disaster Recovery: Test and document disaster recovery procedures, successfully conduct and document disaster recovery tests bi-annually.
  • Professional Development: Pursue relevant certifications and expand technical capabilities, obtain one relevant professional certification within the first year of employment.
  • Vendor Management: Monitor and manage third-party vendor SLAs, track vendor SLA compliance rate and number of successful contract renewals and amendments.
  • Technology Implementation: Implement significant server technology upgrades or improvements, successfully implement at least one server technology upgrade or improvement per year.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in cross-functional projects, enhance system integration, and collaboration, participate in at least one major cross-functional project per year.
  • Documentation: Document all system changes, incidents, and maintenance activities, document 100% of system changes, incidents, and maintenance activities within 24 hours of completion.

**Working Conditions:

  • Office-based with travel to regional offices.
  • Extended work hours may be required to meet deliverables.
  • Standby duties may be required.

**Competencies and Minimum Requirements:

  • Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, proficiency with Linux/UNIX and Windows Server, knowledge of server hardware technologies, understanding of VMware and Hyper-V, proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network hardware, familiarity with SAN, NAS, and RAID configurations, strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, familiarity with disaster recovery and business continuity practices, proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell, knowledge of ITIL.
  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience or certifications may be accepted.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in server administration, 2-3 years of experience with major cloud platforms, solid experience in managing network systems, proven experience in managing security aspects of server infrastructure, experience with VMware or Hyper-V, experience with database systems, 3-5 years of experience in designing and managing technology infrastructure, experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, strong troubleshooting skills, experience in managing vendor relationships, experience in security and compliance management, ability to provide technical guidance and support to a team.

**Salary Range:** $120,000 - $160,000 per annum.
