Job Title: Packaging Designer-Graphic Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Designer-Graphic Designer to join our team at ES Recruitment. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering world-class advertising and branding solutions for our clients in the Beauty/Personal Care/Health Sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute creative branding strategies to support key marketing initiatives across all design platforms.
  • Conceptualize and execute high-priority projects across multiple brands, ensuring brand consistency and adherence to CI guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Traffic, Client Service, and Clients, to ensure smooth workflow and delivery of work.
  • Manage own timelines and ensure deadlines are met, while maintaining an excellent level of quality and design.
  • Mentor junior designers and DTP to ensure timeous delivery and correct interpretation of creative briefs/projects.

Requirements:

  • Design qualification in Art direction or Graphic Design from a recognized institution (Degree or diploma) or proven working track record in the Retail design field specifically in the Brand and Packaging field.
  • At least 6 years graphic design experience in Brand & Packaging design, with a strong understanding of industry print/technical standards.
  • Experience in developing Brands conceptually, carrying concept through to finished art, and designing and rollout of all Packaging Design materials.
  • Strong conceptual/design skills and style, with ability to do 3D mock-ups/renders for presentations.
  • Mac Literate, with technical knowledge and proficiency of design software essential (Latest Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
  • Photo retouching & editing would be advantageous.
  • Organised and with excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to assignments is essential.
  • Excellent time management, ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Good written and verbal Communication Skills.
  • Team player.
  • Positive can-do attitude.
  • Willing to be a team player and put in the extra effort.
