We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Network Recruitment.
About the Role:
- As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead electrical design and oversee project implementation, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- You will develop and review single-line diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Perform electrical system studies, including load flow, fault level, and protection coordination.
- Provide technical expertise for renewable energy, power distribution, and industrial projects.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Ensure adherence to NRS, SANS, IEC, and other relevant standards.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning when required.
Requirements:
- BEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Pr Eng registration with ECSA (Essential).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally within renewable energy, EPC, or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of MV/LV design, power systems, and grid compliance.
- Experience with ETAP, DigSilent, or similar electrical design software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
