The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Educator to join our team at Emmaus OSHC in Jimboomba. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to primary school aged children in a safe and supportive environment.

A Day in the Life of an OSHC Educator
  • Provide nurturing care and support to children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment, promoting a sense of belonging and inclusivity among children.
  • Create engaging and interactive experiences that foster learning and development.
  • Maintain positive relationships with colleagues and families, promoting a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Contribute to the development of programs and activities that meet the needs of children and families.
  • Participate in fun and educational excursions during vacation care, promoting a sense of adventure and exploration.

Job Requirements
  • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
  • Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) or equivalent, as per ACECQA guidelines.
  • First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate.
  • A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment.
