We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist (Animal Feed) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing and managing the procurement strategy in collaboration with management and the sales team.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Procuring product according to pre-season planning
  • Ensuring volume requirements are met throughout the season
  • Liaising with sales team and suppliers to secure availability according to planned sales volumes
  • Canvassing new suppliers and new products that will suit our sales offering

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Adequate tertiary qualification
  • Experience in procurement and purchasing of lucerne and animal feed products
  • Excellent technical knowledge of lucerne and animal feed products, and post-harvest best practices

REMUNERATION: Market related, depending on experience and qualifications
