About the Role

This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced underwriter to join our Vitality Life team. As a Senior Underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting all cases within authority limits and benefits, taking into account medical, financial, territorial, and vocational risks of new and existing business.

You will support dedicated Key Distribution partners and advisors through various communication channels and underwrite more complex cases, including medical reports and aviation questionnaires.

Main Responsibilities
  1. To underwrite all cases within authority limits and benefits, considering medical, financial, territorial, and vocational risks of new and existing business.
  2. To support dedicated Key Distribution partners and advisors through telephone and email.
  3. To underwrite more complex cases, including medical reports and aviation questionnaires.
  4. To analyse applications and call for requirements, underwriting cases within the Senior Underwriter's limits.
  5. To underwrite complex cases and analyse medical reports to ensure correct risk assessment.
  6. To support and build relationships with key distribution partners, ensuring that all cases are correctly underwritten and providing superior customer service.
  7. To deal with escalations and ensure that cases are underwritten according to underwriting rules and policies.
