Job Description

Farm Manager SA is seeking an experienced Farm Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our agricultural enterprise. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing human resources, administration, land preparation, veld management, water reticulation, and animal management.

Responsibilities
  • Manage human resources and administration, including staff supervision and training;
  • Prepare land for planting and implement crop rotation strategies;
  • Develop and maintain effective veld management practices;
  • Clean and maintain water infrastructure, including dams and pipes;
  • Maintain farm fences and ensure they are in good condition;
  • Oversee animal management, including disease prevention and control;
  • Conduct regular maintenance on trucks, tractors, and implements to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • Agricultural Diploma or Degree;
  • At least 10 years of experience as a Farm Manager;
  • Proven experience in crop and cattle farming;
  • Strong computer skills and ability to work independently;
  • Effective communication and management skills;
  • Maintenance and mechanical aptitude;
  • Valid driver's license.
Estimated Salary:

R350,000 - R450,000 per annum based on experience.
