Job Overview

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop Security Plans: Develop and implement comprehensive security plans to support business objectives and protect company assets.
  • Conduct Threat Assessments: Conduct regular threat assessments to identify potential risks and develop mitigating measures to minimize impact.
  • Manage Security Operations: Manage security operations to ensure optimal performance and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Schedule Employees: Schedule employees according to contract requirements to ensure adequate staffing levels.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualifications: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification, Security management qualification advantageous, PSIRA Grade A certificate, valid driver's license, and SAPS Competency to handle a Handgun and Shotgun (for Business Purposes).
  • Skills: Knowledge of mine environment, understanding of security operational processes, familiarity with health and safety legislation, working knowledge of MS Office, proficient in English (verbal & written communication), strong organizational and leadership skills, conflict management and dispute resolution abilities, safety risk management skills, excellent communication and service-oriented skills, ability to manage and motivate team members for optimal performance and compliance.
