Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Assessment and Origination: Conduct comprehensive assessments of the merits of each case, evaluating their potential for success and overall strategic fit.
  • Financial Analysis and Investment Strategy: Analyse the financial aspects of investment opportunities, including funding requirements, investment stages, expected returns, and associated risks.
  • Negotiation and Case Management: Lead negotiations with external parties, including law firms and stakeholders, to secure favourable economic terms and optimise investment structures.
  • Investment Oversight and Case Progression: Oversee the management of approved investments, coordinating with claimants, legal teams, experts, and other stakeholders to ensure effective case progression.
  • Financial Management and Risk Mitigation: Monitor and manage the financial aspects of each case, ensuring adherence to the initial investment plan and addressing any deviations.
  • Dispute Resolution and Alternative Strategies: Explore and implement strategies for early case resolution and alternative dispute resolution to minimize litigation duration and costs.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor degree in Finance, Law, or a related field.
  • Experience: 6-8 years of experience in Litigation, Dispute Resolution, or related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Proven track record in assessing litigation cases and probability of success, strong analytical skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and in-depth knowledge of legal and financial principles.
