As a Retail Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail plant.

About the Job
  • You will be responsible for leading a team of production staff, including deboners, trimmers, saw operators, steak slicers, and packers.
  • Your focus will be on optimizing production efficiency, reducing costs, and improving product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership:
    • Lead a team of production staff to achieve production targets and objectives.
    • Motivate and develop staff members to improve performance and productivity.
  2. Production Optimization:
    • Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement.
    • Implement changes to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  3. Performance Management:
    • Develop and implement performance management systems to monitor and evaluate staff performance.
    • Identify areas for improvement and provide coaching and support to staff members.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Grade 12 is required.
  • A master meat cutting diploma will be advantageous.
  • 3–5 years of meat production experience.
