We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team at ATP Accounting in Umhlanga.
Key Tasks- Assist senior accountants with financial tasks, including preparing monthly management accounts and analysing accounting data.
- Document financial transactions, reconcile bank statements with financial records, and prepare Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Trial Balances.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations for Balance Sheet items, perform payroll reconciliations, and assist with bi-monthly VAT submissions.
- Attend to e-filing requirements, handle CIPC and Workmen's Compensation submissions, and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
We require a minimum of 1 year's experience from an accounting background, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ideal candidate will possess basic knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and practices, be proficient in accounting software, and have a SAIPA qualification or equivalent.
We offer a competitive package between R12k to R18k CTC based on level and experience.
