Data Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at ATripleA Recruitment and Temps. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting data collection, processing, analysis, and reporting to drive business development, operations, and efficiency within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Collection & Extraction:
    • Gather data from various internal and external sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and web applications.
    • Assist in automating data extraction processes to improve efficiency.
  • Data Cleaning & Preparation:
    • Clean and preprocess raw data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
    • Identify and correct data discrepancies, missing values, and outliers.
  • Data Analysis:
    • Conduct basic statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
    • Use tools like Excel, SQL, Python, or R to analyze data sets and generate reports.
  • Reporting & Visualization:
    • Create and maintain dashboards, charts, and other visual representations of data using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.
    • Prepare and present reports to senior analysts and other stakeholders.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with senior analysts, data engineers, and other departments to understand data needs and provide support.
    • Participate in meetings to discuss findings and recommend actionable insights.
  • Documentation:
    • Maintain clear and detailed documentation of data processes, methodologies, and analyses.
    • Contribute to the development of data standards and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Matric is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience or internships in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles.
  • 2+ Years experience in internal sales.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for querying databases.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools like Python, R, or similar.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Valid driver's license & own transport essential.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Analytical thinking and ability to work with large data sets.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and technologies.
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Time management and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
