Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled External Reporting Specialist to join our team at Network Finance Corporate.

The ideal candidate will have a CA(SA) qualification and 2-4 years of experience working in a JSE listed environment.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and submitting external financial publications, including the full suite of financial publications for the JSE and shareholders.
  • They will also need to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and statutory annual financial statements for all entities within the Group.
  • In addition, they will be responsible for maintaining accurate intergroup balances and transactions, as well as general ledger account maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit timely and accurate external financial publications, including the full suite of financial publications for the JSE and shareholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and statutory annual financial statements for all entities within the Group.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of IFRS standards to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
  • Control and maintain accurate intergroup balances and transactions, as well as general ledger account maintenance.
  • Prepare and propose accurate profit forecasts for provisional tax payments.

Requirements

  • CA(SA) qualification is required.
  • 2-4 years of experience working in a JSE listed environment is essential.
