About the Role

The Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing procurement processes, managing contracts, and utilizing data analytics tools to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a meticulous and proactive individual who can ensure compliance, manage contracts, and utilize data analytics tools to support strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have experience with procurement systems and a strong understanding of procurement best practices. They will be responsible for monitoring contracts to ensure compliance with Delegation of Authority (DOA) guidelines, managing Deeds of Ratification (DOR) when necessary, tracking contract expiries, and managing the renewal process to avoid lapses in coverage.

The Procurement Coordinator will also be responsible for identifying and monitoring potential conflicts of interest within procurement activities, implementing measures to mitigate identified conflicts, and ensuring transparency.

In addition, this role will involve ensuring that procurement systems are aligned and integrated with organizational processes, resolving system issues promptly to maintain smooth operations, and tracking and monitoring systems to ensure all risks are addressed effectively.

The Procurement Coordinator will prepare and present reports for the Procurement Management Committee (Manco), utilize Power BI to analyze procurement data, and generate insights for strategic decision-making. They will also manage BEE reporting and oversee spend management to meet compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Monitor contracts to ensure compliance with DOA guidelines and track contract expiries.
  2. Identify and monitor potential conflicts of interest within procurement activities.
  3. E nsure that procurement systems are aligned and integrated with organizational processes.
  4. Prepare and present reports for the Procurement Management Committee (Manco).
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  3. Proficiency in procurement systems such as Oracle.
  4. Strong analytical skills and experience with Power BI.
