Nelson Mandela University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Counselling Psychologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, supervising, and implementing student counselling programmes and services across the university.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and supervise site-specific programme and service delivery, including human resources, equipment, and consumables management.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on functions to ensure effective service delivery.
- Develop and implement programme development and implementation across all sites.
- Provide professional counselling services to university students in accordance with the HPCSA's Scope of Practice for Psychologists.
- Enhance accessibility to services through internal and external community engagement.
- Master's degree in Psychology, with a Doctoral degree preferred.
- Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Psychologist (Counselling, Clinical, or Educational).
- At least 3-5 years of experience in student counselling, career, and development programmes and services.
