The ideal candidate will have a PhD in neuroscience and/or endocrine physiology, with prior experience in animal physiology, molecular biology, histology, and imaging, as well as primary cell culture.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for self-driven, creative, and resourceful individuals to develop a research project focused on understanding how peripheral neurons control glucose and lipid homeostasis.

The selected candidate will actively participate in lab and departmental meetings, contributing to the training of research assistants and graduate students.


Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute in vitro and in vivo experiments in mouse models of diabetes and obesity.
  • Analyze and interpret data from these experiments.
  • Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Train and mentor research assistants and graduate students.
  • Engage in regular scientific discussions and presentations within the lab and department.
