Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced facilitator to lead weekly classes, develop learning materials, and manage academic administration in a water infrastructure operations program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitation:
    • Plan and manage weekly classes to ensure effective learning outcomes.
    • Prepare and deliver high-quality learning content to engage students.
    • Design and prepare learning environments, including labs, classrooms, and research venues.
    • Develop learning materials as needed to support student learning.
    • Organize additional workshops and field trips to enhance student experience.
    • Assess student performance through practical, formative, and summative evaluations.
  • General Academic Administration:
    • Record and track student attendance to ensure accurate records.
    • Motivate and support students to achieve academic success.
    • Identify students at risk and provide additional support as needed.
    • Record and report student results to stakeholders.
    • Provide feedback and guidance to students through program reviews.
    • Complete moderation reports and certifications as required.
    • Promote the program at open events.
  • Requirements:
    • A relevant qualification at NQF 9 (Masters) in a related field.
    • At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in water infrastructure operations.
    • Subject matter expertise in water infrastructure operations.
  • Computer Literacy:
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Additional Competencies:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
