We are seeking a skilled Test Analyst to join our team in Johannesburg.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing.
  • Plan and execute testing in a timely manner to ensure requirements are met and signed off.
  • Develop and document test cases, ensuring accurate and comprehensive coverage.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills in a technical environment, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Perform manual execution of test cases across various test cycles, with the ability to automate where possible.
  • Maintain a results-driven approach, focusing on goal achievement.

Competencies:

  • Test all developmental tasks in accordance with business requirements received from business analysts.
  • Analyze and translate business requirements into test scenarios, ensuring accurate representation.
  • Demonstrate problem analysis and problem-solving skills in a technical environment, driving effective solutions.
  • Exhibit excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, facilitating collaboration and information exchange.
  • Be adaptable, able to learn quickly, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with a strong focus on teamwork and self-motivation.
  • Execute test cases, analyze test results, and provide progress feedback in daily stand-up meetings.
  • Understand testing concepts, including methodologies and techniques, to ensure comprehensive testing.
  • Manage time effectively, adhering to deadlines and delivering high-quality results.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in a relevant field.
  • Experience in the banking and financial services industry.
  • Strong SQL query skills and database knowledge.
  • Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, and other collaborative tools is advantageous.
