Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Level 3 Room Leader to join our team at Quinteducation in the beautiful Docklands area.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Early Years professional to lead a team of staff in our baby room, ensuring high-quality care and education for children aged 0-2 years. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with parents and colleagues.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing daily activities, observing and recording children's progress, and contributing to the development of our EYFS curriculum. A current DBS check and relevant childcare qualifications are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of staff in the allocated rooms, ensuring adult/child ratios are maintained at all times
  • Observe and record children's learning and development, using this information to inform planning and provision
  • Develop and implement exciting age-appropriate activities, both indoors and outdoors, that meet the needs of all children
  • Build positive relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and well-being
Requirements
  • Relevant Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent experience
  • A current DBS check
  • The right to work in the UK
  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in an Early Years setting
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and its implementation
