Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our team at MC Technology Staffing. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of complex manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role and drive the success of our manufacturing operations. Your primary responsibility will be to develop comprehensive project plans, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets. Additionally, you will identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively monitor project progress to minimize disruptions.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Manufacturing Operations Manager will be responsible for:
  • Developing detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resources, and dependencies for product design and tool manufacture projects.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, manufacturing engineers, procurement, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment and efficient project execution.
  • Driving the execution of project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

Risk Management

The Manufacturing Operations Manager will also be responsible for:
  • Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Proactively monitoring project progress and addressing any issues or roadblocks that arise.

Communication and Reporting

As the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, the Manufacturing Operations Manager will be responsible for providing regular updates on project status, milestones achieved, and any deviations from the plan. You will also prepare and present comprehensive project status reports, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Certification in project management would be advantageous.
  • Proven experience coordinating complex manufacturing projects, preferably in the plastics or manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop detailed project plans, manage resources, and track progress against milestones.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project.
  • Competency in 3D CAD design (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks).
  • High proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Excel.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $80,000-$100,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
