About the Role

As a Product Category Specialist at Clicks Group Limited, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of merchandise critical paths. This includes administering and supporting all aspects of buying processes, such as new product listings, product development, and promotional activities.

You will also be tasked with providing analytical support to enhance product performance, promotional sell-through, range reviews, and category performance.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A degree or diploma in retail or purchasing management is highly desirable.

  • Bachelor's degree in Retail, Purchasing Management, or related field (Essential)
  1. Manage and coordinate administrative tasks related to buying processes, including accurate new lines listing, product development process tracking, promotions, and sign-offs with buyers.
  2. Liaise with stores and vendors regarding pricing queries, product availability, promotions, and take timely action on these requests or issues.
  3. Coordinate internal marketing activities, including ClubCard promotions, and manage the control and review of marketing and omni-channel samples, images, and pricing of promoted items.
  4. Prepare and complete merchandising manuals for sign-off by Buyers as per their brief.
  5. Obtain supplier confirmation and submit TEM Bill backs to maintain and improve category profitability.
  6. Analyse weekly new product launches within the category against Key Performance Indicators to provide key insights for scorecards and key reporting functions.
