Certified Driver Trainer/Instructor

Job Summary:

Job Masters is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver Trainer/Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing training to new and existing drivers and lifting equipment operators in line with company policy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to ensure drivers and operators meet company standards.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine training needs and effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate records of training sessions, including participant progress and completion.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure training aligns with company goals and objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to enhance training programs.

Requirements:

• TETA Assessor Accreditation with unit standards in Counterbalance lift truck, Defined purpose lift truck, Crane, Fire fighting, Convey dangerous goods by road, Handle heavy vehicle combination, and Handle rigid vehicle combination.
• Valid Code EC Drivers Licence with Valid PrDP and clear driving record.
• Minimum 5 years truck driving experience plus a minimum of 2 years proven training experience.
• Knowledge of computerised systems, applications, and outputs (MS Office etc).
• Knowledge and understanding of the Road Traffic Act and relevant legislation.
• Knowledge of on-board monitoring systems and vehicle tracking systems.
