About the Role

This is a key position in our organisation, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ITIL methodologies and experience with monitoring tools such as Operation Bridge Manager and Network Node Management.

Main Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage systems in accordance with ITIL methodologies
• Respond to calls and requests logged on Helpdesk timeously and resolve them accordingly
• Manage SLA for Service Availability
• Follow change management, incident management, and problem management according to the ITIL Framework
• Provide input to 2nd level support and 3rd Level on resolution of all Systems Monitoring related tickets
• Continuously monitor transaction flow between entities across all SANRAL domains
• Identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed

Requirements

• Diploma in IT at NQF level 6 or higher
• 5+ years of relevant experience in system monitoring and management
• Strong knowledge of ITIL methodologies and best practices
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Operation Bridge Manager and Network Node Management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
