About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Lead to join our team at Psybergate. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with stakeholders to build a network that aligns with the company's goals.
  • Develop and implement automated testing solutions and quality practices to ensure stable solutions.
  • Provide advice to clients on quality practices and build deep relationships with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the ongoing value proposition by building a deep understanding of the domain.
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance Leads, Practise Leads, Developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to meet client expectations.
  • Participate in PI planning and squad deliverables, including capacity estimation and interdependencies.
  • Obtain and review relevant artefacts from stakeholders.
  • Create the Test Strategy, approach, or plan and ensure alignment to the squad objectives.
  • Contribute to the systematic breakdown of business needs into manageable features, stories, and epics.
  • Ensure all committed user stories and acceptance criteria are tested for the specific release.
  • Participate in backlog grooming and sprint planning.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, manage issues raised by Software Quality & Test Engineers, and raise relevant associated risks.
  • Encourage collaboration across squads to ensure efficient implementation of deliverables and adherence to automation governance.
  • Perform pull requests and ensure all feature branches are committed to Master.
  • Review that the test automation solution meets architectural and development standards.
  • Challenging business and technology solutions in alignment with client value proposition.
  • Ensure integration into and continuous test automation execution on DevOps pipelines.
  • Work with the Enterprise Quality Assurance Practise Lead on metrics and reporting to communicate quality engineering practices.
  • Ensure the defect management process is adhered to by Software Quality & Test Engineers.
  • Ensure artefacts are easily obtainable by storing all relevant artefacts in the repository.
  • Participate in retrospective reviews and seek efficiencies to ensure quicker delivery with high quality to our clients.
  • Encourage peer reviews of QA artefacts.
  • Understand and manage own demand based on expected timelines articulated by line-management and project expectations.
  • Collaborate with peers and industry experts to understand technical advances and its application within the company ecosystem.
  • Seek ongoing improvements in technical capabilities.
  • Ensure alignment of solution with emerging technologies and impact on company technologies.
  • Mentor Engineers within the team to improve their technical capabilities.
  • Provide input into the documentation of standards & quality practices for Quality engineering for the organisation's current and future technological architecture.
  • Provide input into performance management of team members.
  • Ensure team dynamics are healthy.
  • Support the achievement of the business strategy, objectives, and values.
  • Obtain buy-in for developing new and/or enhanced processes.
  • Seek opportunities to improve business processes, models, and systems through agile thinking.
Requirements
  • Completed IT/BSc degree or other related fields.
  • 7-10 years experience as QA Lead or Test Analyst.
  • Good working knowledge of Front End and API automation as well as Performance Testing (NFT).
  • Tools include Selenium/Appium/Healenium, RestAssured, and JMeter.
