Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service as a Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service, including staffing, administration, and financial management tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive, and educational program for children.
  • Provide a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
  • Promote the service within the local community, aligning with the values and mission of Centacare Brisbane.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Children Services or equivalent, as per ACECQA guidelines.
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis certification.
  • Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and My Time Our Place.
  • Effective computer skills, including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
  • Proven leadership and team development skills.
