Job Summary:

  • We are looking for a highly experienced Workshop Manager with a strong background in diesel mechanics and truck/trailer maintenance.
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and hold a Red Seal certificate or Trade Test in Diesel Mechanics.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our workshop, ensuring that all vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of diesel mechanics and other workshop staff.
  • Ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained and repaired in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Monitor and control workshop inventory, including parts and supplies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Workshop Manager or in a similar role.
  • Red Seal certificate or Trade Test in Diesel Mechanics.
  • Experience with trucks and trailers.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
