Your expertise in corporate governance will be instrumental in promoting good governance practices and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Fulfilling duties as a Company Secretary, providing advice on all matters related to corporate governance
  • Supporting boards and committees through annual cycles, including drafting work plans and agendas, organizing meeting papers, and preparing minutes
  • Ensuring best practice board and meeting administration for a portfolio of companies and committees
  • Drafting resolutions and other corporate communications

You will be working closely with the Acting Group Company Secretary to manage overall compliance and best practices, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met and company policies are adhered to. This role also involves developing processes to maintain corporate information and policies, as well as overseeing elements of logistics such as hospitality and record-keeping.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong knowledge of the Companies Act, corporate laws, and governance codes, as well as proficiency in running and supporting boards and board committees. Experience in creating and managing compliance processes, developing best practice guidelines, and producing quality minutes is essential.
