About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Site Engineer to join our team at Venetia, Limpopo. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the site engineering team and ensuring that production and safety targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading the site engineering team to achieve production and safety targets.
  • Effective management of all TMM and construction work at the designated area within project engineering key performance areas.
  • Quality control of products and equipment supplied to sites.
  • Implementation and monitoring of standards and procedures.
  • Management of various installations simultaneously.
  • Stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth workflows.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

  • BSc, BTech or National Higher Diploma Engineering from a recognised institution.
  • DMR Government Certificate of Competency to practice as an Engineer (GCC Mines and Works - Mechanical or Electrical).
  • Project Management qualification (advantageous).
  • ECSA registration (advantageous).
  • Proficient in MS Office including MS Projects.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Medically fit to work underground.
Desired Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will also possess the following desired skills and qualifications:

  • Experience in infrastructure installation and maintenance.
  • Experience interpreting technical drawings and designs.
  • Experience in predictive maintenance analysis and conducting failure and trend analysis.
