- Key Responsibilities
This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including:
Compensation Strategy and Policy Development:
- Design competitive salary structures and incentive programs aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
- Develop and implement remuneration policies, ensuring compliance with labor legislation.
Payroll Management and Statutory Reporting:
- Manage the payroll towards the delivery of accurate and timeous payment of salaries and oversee the accurate processing of all payroll transactions.
- Managing payroll inputs and calculations including allowances, bonuses, overtime etc.
- Oversee processing of payroll changes and system upgrades.
Benefits Management:
- Manage the monetary and non-monetary employee benefits offering.
- Serves as a point of contact and resolution for employee queries.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze compensation trends and prepare reports for management on the effectiveness of remuneration strategies.
Remuneration and Employee Data Management/Custodian:

Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, Finance, or a related field. They should also have advanced certifications such as SARA Reward Specialist or GRP certification. A minimum of 6 years of experience in remuneration or benefits management/senior specialist role is required, along with strong knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
Skills and Competencies:
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills for data interpretation and decision-making, accuracy and attention to detail, commercial acumen, proficiency in HRIS and payroll software, and excellent interpersonal skills for employee engagement.
