As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a critical role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our vehicles and forklifts. You will work under the guidance of the Supervisor to ensure that all maintenance and repair tasks are completed to the highest standard.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent technical skills, a strong understanding of mechanical systems, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A N3 Diesel Mechanic qualification or higher, a minimum of 3 years prior experience in automotive maintenance, and prior forklift truck (diesel & petrol) maintenance experience are essential requirements. Additionally, a valid Driver's License and Forklift Truck License are necessary for this role.
Main Responsibilities
- Work alongside Supervisor to learn and perform quality vehicle and forklift service maintenance and repairs.
- Assist Supervisor as needed in various automotive maintenance tasks.
- Report machinery defects or malfunctions to Supervisor.
