Job Description

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing full design aspects for Electrical and Electronic Services mainly across our Data Centre portfolio. This includes analysing project requirements in the context of various codes and standards, developing conceptual designs through to a set of construction information, and directing a small team to ensure compliant designs are delivered to agreed programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full design aspects for Electrical and Electronic Services across Data Centres.
  • Analyse project requirements in the context of local and international codes and standards.
  • Develop conceptual designs through to a set of construction information.
  • Direct a small team to ensure compliant designs are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage and coordinate interdisciplinary interfaces.
  • Develop scripts and add-ins to automate repetitive design aspects using Dynamo and Python.
  • Represent Zutari at client meetings and present work to engage in technical conversations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in Electrical Engineering.
  • Active professional registration with a certified engineering body.
  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer within the Data Centre and/or Built Environment.
  • Strong technical understanding of building services, focusing on Electrical and Electronics.
  • Uptime Institute certification is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Revit and EOM is highly desirable.
