Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering 1:1 support to individuals through various mediums (face-to-face, telephone, digital).
  • Supporting individuals with practicalities such as dealing with authorities, funerals, and media coverage.
  • Conducting training workshops and awareness sessions for health and social care professionals.
  • Fostering positive relationships with service users and stakeholders while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Promoting the service at community events and forums.

About You:

We're looking for someone with experience in supporting individuals bereaved by suicide, or with experience in carer or bereavement support services.

Emotional resilience and ability to manage emotionally demanding situations are essential.

NVQ 3 / QCF Diploma in Health & Social Care or related subject required.

Strong organisational, interpersonal, and IT skills.
