This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services using Java 17 and Spring Boot, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing batch processing solutions using Spring Batch
  • Implementing security best practices using Spring Security
  • Managing containerized applications using Docker
  • Developing and optimizing database interactions with PostgreSQL
  • Deploying and managing applications on AWS cloud infrastructure, specifically S3, ECS, and SNS
  • Designing and maintaining SOAP web services
  • Developing and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Integrating and managing messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
  • Writing clean, scalable, and well-documented code
  • Collaborating with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Ensuring application security and compliance with best practices
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing performance bottlenecks
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Java Backend Developer
  • Strong proficiency in Java 17 and Spring Boot
  • Experience with Spring Batch for batch processing
  • Experience with Spring Security for authentication and authorization
  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker
  • Proficiency in working with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, ECS, and SNS
  • Experience in designing and consuming SOAP web services
  • Understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
  • Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
