Job Description:

The Space Planning Administrator will provide administration support to the space planning department for all space planning projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collate and maintain floor plans, ensuring received plans are checked against the register with drawing numbers recorded.
  • Make necessary changes as required and pass onto store development for updating CAD files, ensuring the store receives updated copies.
  • Obtain modular photographs from stores for respective categories and compare against the category's planograms based on criteria set out in the compliance scorecard.
Data Capture and Analysis:
  • Obtain images and dimensions, capturing data into the space planning platform.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure correct dimension and images are in the correct format and sent to the space planning department.
  • Capture product dimensions into the space planning platform.
Communication and Reporting:
  • Manage and align new products with the space planning platform, distributing to space planners timeously.
  • Run planogram publishing report and update the space planning manager.
  • Monitor the ETC and space planners' response to calls.
  • Identify and resolve administrative or logistical issues that may arise during space planning initiatives, ensuring smooth operations.
Ad Hoc Tasks:
  • Perform general administrative tasks for the space planning department.
  • Perform any other tasks requested by management.
Requirements:
  • Matric qualification.
  • A Business Administration or related qualification.
  • 2-3 years experience in retail space.
Ideal Attributes:
  • Vast knowledge of the space planning environment.
  • Credibility and ability to adapt easily.
  • Good self-awareness and self-management.
