Job Summary

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in preparing Annual Financial Statements and Consolidations in line with IFRS using Caseware.
  2. Ensure compliance with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury Regulations, and the Companies Act.
  3. Consolidate and review monthly compliance reports and financial reports for executive committees.
  4. Prepare financial reports for National Treasury and the Department of Energy and Electricity (DEE).
  5. Advise on VAT matters to optimize financial efficiencies.
  6. Assist in managing monthly financial reconciliations and liaise with external auditors.
Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification.
  • Minimum two years of post-articles experience in financial reporting and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, PFMA, and the Companies Act.
  • Proficiency in Caseware, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
