We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented administrative professional to support the Head of Department in the City of Ethekwini. As a Personal Assistant, you will be responsible for providing secretarial, clerical, and other administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Head of Department, including preparing documents, responding to emails, and managing calendars.
- Financial Processes: Perform financial processes to ensure compliance with the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA) and prevent financial losses.
- Governance and Risk Management: Implement governance and risk management practices to ensure a high level of governance in the office of the Head of Department.
- Customer Service: Coordinate activities with the office of the Head of Department to ensure that customer service goals and objectives set by Council and the Head of Department are met.
Requirements:
- NQF Level 4-6: Further Education and Training Certificate or equivalent.
- 5 – 8 years' experience in a similar environment.
