About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Java Application Developer to join our team at Xcede Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, with a focus on creating high-quality, maintainable, and efficient software solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing Java applications, as well as collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements. This includes engaging in technical scoping sessions, producing working implementations from functional documents, and ensuring the appropriate use of tools and applications that support the development process.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will also possess a strong understanding of J2EE application servers, UML, and versioning software such as SVN and GitLab.

This position requires a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Java 7 and JEE technologies, including Servlets, JSP, EJB, REST, and SOAP. Proficiency in Build tools such as Maven and ANT is also essential. Experience with XML, LDAP, design tools, and Internet development is advantageous.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality results, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a high level of professionalism throughout the project.
