Our client, a leading investment banking firm, is seeking a highly skilled Mergers and Acquisitions Associate to support their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in corporate finance, private equity, or transaction advisory, with exceptional financial modeling skills and the ability to drive M&A and capital-raising transactions forward.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and present pitches and presentations for deal origination and implementation.
* Create and maintain complex financial models and perform valuations for M&A and capital-raising transactions.
* Prepare transaction documents, including information memos and teasers, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
* Support the deal due diligence process, including managing data rooms and bidder information requests, with excellent communication and project management skills.
* Collaborate with clients, potential bidders, and investors, as well as other advisors, to drive transaction success.
* Assist in preparing transaction documents and handling Know Your Customer (KYC) and background checks for client onboarding, ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
* Mentor and manage junior team members, providing guidance and oversight to ensure their success.

Requirements:

* Strong academic background in Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting, Investments, or related fields.
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in corporate finance, transaction advisory, or private equity, with a proven track record of success.
* Excellent financial modeling and valuation skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and drive business decisions.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to clients and stakeholders.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
* Experience working in a high-paced environment with complex financial transactions, with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
