Job Description

We are seeking a Sales Professional to join our team at R.A.W. GROUP, responsible for promoting laser cutting and metal work services to clients in Cape Town and Boland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit clients and potential clients to evaluate their needs and promote our products and services.
  • Deliver sales presentations to a range of prospective clients, showcasing the benefits of our laser cutting and metal work capabilities.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs to maximize exposure and drive results.
  • Analyse customer data to inform sales strategies and improve performance.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals, consistently delivering high-quality results.
  • Report back to management on a weekly basis, providing updates on progress and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain positive business relationships with clients to ensure future sales and growth opportunities.
  • Plan and execute sales and advertising campaigns to drive revenue and increase brand awareness.
  • Engage in cold calling and site visits to identify new business opportunities and build relationships with key decision-makers.

Requirements:

  • A National Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar sales role, preferably in the manufacturing or engineering sector.
  • Tertiary education is an advantage, particularly in a field such as business administration or marketing.
  • Fully bilingual proficiency in Afrikaans and English is essential, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • A well-organized and detail-oriented approach to work, with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are required for travel to client sites.
  • Product knowledge of laser cutting, bending, and metal work processes is highly desirable, particularly if you have experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure, meeting deadlines and achieving sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Contactable references and a proven track record of success in sales are essential for this role.

Salary Range: R400,000 - R600,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Location: Cape Town and Boland.

Language: Afrikaans (Required), English (Required).
